SalaryDocStar Medical Partners client is looking for a radiologist locum for a remote position!

Length of Assignment: 6-12 month assignment, with potential to extend
Credentialing Timeframe: About 6-8 weeks
Work Schedule: Client is asking for a provider to be willing to read the overflow remotely, about 5-10 CTs/day and would be given access to their PACS and dictation system (current Radiologist takes about 3-4 hours per 10)
Radiology details:
- A mix of Chest, body, and Neuro
- It would be 5-10 CTs a day Monday-Friday, overflow will be done remotely
- The exams would all be completed during the day between the hours of 7-3 PM, and since it’s routine studies so they could be read anytime (day or night)
- They will NOT be sending any MRIs
- Would have access to the PACS and dictation system
- 24-hour turnaround time
Patient Volume: About 5-10 PT reads a day
Procedures: No call required (they have tele-rad at night)
- General Diagnostic cases – most of the reads are CT (a mix of Chest, body, and Neuro). Needing a locum who is comfortable with “everything” and would be a big win if they can do 3D mammo
Read overflow routine studies (NO MRI’s)
Licensure Needed: PA license (clean and active)
Certifications Needed: BLS/ACLS, DEA, and MUST be Board Certified
Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: A provider with higher education will stand out to the Board of Directors.
Other additional pertinent information:
Looking for someone who can do quality reads, has great experience and education, and comfortable with a variety of reads (3D/Mammo is a huge plus)
