JOB SUMMARY
The Loan Originator will focus on identifying areas of opportunity and growth in Business-to-Business sales and marketing while providing strategic direction to assist in overall company growth. They will identify areas of opportunity for strategic brand awareness in the B2B space with a focus on increased product development and sales revenue with the company's core values at top of mind. This role requires a persuasive and strong business acumen. An exceptional Loan Originator should be able to multitask between clients, external business partners and Account Managers and establish strategic relationships with other industry experts while demonstrating excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Handle multiple calls on an outbound basis
They build rapport, analyze financial situations, and determine the appropriate loan product to meet our client's goals
Educates clients on how to better manage their mortgage and debt
Assists clients through the loan process from application to closing
Maintains minimum production standards including originations & fundings
Identify and provide market research on areas of Business-to-Business opportunities including product offerings
Develop client relationships and strengthen industry partnerships
Identify new areas of opportunity for lead generating
Coordinate with Account Managers and industry professional for hosting and sponsorship opportunities
Participate in travel as need be for the promotion of the brand and business
Coordinate with Account Managers, Marketing, and The Director of Business Development to align strategies aimed at increasing revenue through product development and relationships
Coordinate with The Director of Business Development to implement marketing efforts based on market research and strategies to penetrate new and existing markets
Focus on strategic partnerships to increase the quality and quantity of leads being generated
Suggest marketing opportunities to The Director of Business Development
Provide superior leadership by working alongside Account Managers, conversing with clients and industry professionals while communicating with upper management on areas of opportunity
Provide monthly marketing and sales updates identifying results and risks
Additional duties assigned as business needs dictate

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience in Business Development, Real Estate or Lending
Proficiency with an ERP/analytical system or equivalent
Strong communication skills and ability to build consensus among department leaders
Proficient in excel, power point, solid grasp of analytics, metrics, data and statistics
Business acumen: knows how to drive performance and can translate business objectives measurable results
Aptitude for understanding multiple, interrelated, and complex systems and processes
Must be a self-directed, results-oriented individual with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, continually changing environment
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week

PREFFERED REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of mortgage originations experience preferred
NMLS SAFE ACT compliant
holding multiple active state licenses preferred
Proven production of top performance in a similar model preferred
Prior experience in Real Estate preferred but not required
Proven ability to utilize reporting and analytics to drive decisions
Occasional travel as needed

ABILITIES REQUIRED
Ability to handle high volume phone calls and various rebuttals required
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required, Bilingual a plus
Proficient Computer and Data Entry Skills required
Ability to champion ideas and execute in an expedited timeframe
Ability to accommodate change and adapt accordingly
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Could involve some lifting up to 20 pounds
Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines
All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English
Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time without much movement
