SalaryUnder the direction of the Loan Operations Document Review Manager, the Team Lead will perform a variety of functions to ensure the efficient operation of the loan documentation review area in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure procedures and processes within the loan document review group are current and gain efficiencies in production.
- Train and coach new team members in proper loan document review processes.
- Perform loan documentation review of Commercial loans, Commercial Real Estate loans, Commercial C&I loans, SBA Loans, Consumer loans and Mortgage loans.
- Must have knowledge of various entity documentation and loan documentation.
- Become proficient in the bank’s internal loan policies.
- Create exceptions on the system to monitor documentation errors or missing documentation.
- Contact lender and or lending assistant when documentation exceptions are found on audited loan documents.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and remain current with compliance training applicable to position (Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Information, Privacy Act and various lending regulations)
- Internal and external customer service
- Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidential information are essential.
- Ability to follow directions and make decisions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to coach and train employees.
- Must have e-mail etiquette skills.
- Ability to use common sense and sound judgment.
- Strong attention to detail.

- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of three years’ experience working in a Loan Department role with excellent knowledge of loan documentation
- Lending and/or Operations experience required.
