This is a fully and permanently remote work from home opportunity with a growing and stable company available in select states across the US: AZ, FL, GA, ID, KS, LA, MI, MN, NC, NE, TX, UT, VA

The wage for this position is $24.04 - $26.45/hr or $50,000 - $55,000 annually. This role offers variable earnings making total On-Target-Earnings (OTE) $57,000 - $62,000 upon successfully hitting assigned targets.

The Role

Guidant financial is currently looking for a remote Loan Consultant. This role guides and educate entrepreneurs throughout the Small Business Association (SBA) loan process. Supports Sales Consultants and other internal partners to facilitate options for small business financing.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage an active pipeline of entrepreneurs in various stages of seeking debt financing options (i.e. SBA loans, portfolio loans, unsecured debt, equipment leasing, etc.)
    • Communicate with all parties on the revenue team to update them on external funding status and next steps
    • Schedules and conducts onboarding calls
    • Main point of contact for client throughout each stage of financing until funded
  • Strong phone skills (this position will be on the phone a lot, willingness and excitement around being on the phone is the best path to success)
  • Analyze loan package and client qualification to consult on financing eligibility
  • Support packaging specialist with loan documentation as needed.
  • Works closely with our network of lenders to obtain financing offers for Guidant clients.
  • Maintain relationships over phone and email
  • Work towards monthly goals while maintaining quality and quick response time

Additional Functions

  • Participate in ongoing training and education, provided by Guidant, to improve sales skills.
  • Performs other duties as required

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related major preferred or equivalent experience
  • 2 - 3 years of experience managing a client pipeline
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar customer relationship management software preferred
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to understand complex processes and translate them into layman terms
  • Drive to learn and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Strong computer literacy with command of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Team player with ability to work under minimal supervision on multiple tasks
  • Ability to work in an autonomous environment where you can be a self-directed, independent worker
  • Ability to create an inclusive workplace where everyone feels a sense of belonging by empowering all our employees to speak up, ask questions, and be seen

Other Requirements

  • Must pass a background check
  • Must meet work from home requirements to qualify
  • Complete continuing education based upon current certifications

For this position there are minimum work from home requirements that must be met in order to perform the essential functions in a remote work from home (WFH) environment. These include 1) a space to work out of (i.e., home office) and 2) High speed internet.
