SalaryLocal community focused bank seeking individual with at least one year of related lending experience to serve as a full-time Loan Assistant at its Bellevue Branch.
Primary focus is the processing, closing, and booking of a range of loan types including consumer and commercial. Work closely with the loan officer to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships with bank customers.
Assist the loan officer in obtaining necessary income and expense documentation, obtaining collateral insurance, obtaining flood certificates, ordering title work, ordering appraisals and valuations, filing and release of vehicle titles and real estate security instruments, collection of loan payments, preparing loan documents, and other lending and loan servicing duties.
The ideal candidate would also be cross trained to perform other duties within the branch as needed.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year experience in loan processing, loan closing, or loan related experience
- Excellent communication and people skills required
- Thorough knowledge of loan documentation
- Competence in Word, Outlook, and other Windows software and the ability to quickly learn and effectively use other lending and banking related software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
