We are seeking a skilled and experienced Loader Operator to join our team. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to load and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner. Your expertise in order picking, materials handling, and warehouse operations will be essential in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy machinery, such as cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and cranes, to load and unload materials
- Safely transport materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment
- Follow established procedures for order picking, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock checks
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and shipping/receiving personnel to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including those set by OSHA
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Loader Operator or similar role in a warehouse environment
- Proficiency in operating order pickers, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, cranes, and other relevant equipment
- Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and warehouse operations
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow instructions accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and lift heavy objects as required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
