SalaryOur Facility Technician I for Chicago, IL performs hands-on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and offloading vans and completes paperwork for waste tracking movement. This position is physically intensive, and it can be in adverse environments like heat or cold year-round.

Job Details:
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, and processes, and acting safely at all times.
- Performs hands-on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and offloading vans.
- Performs drum storage, drum repacks, and use of drum scanner.
- Complete and submit all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements.
- Operate a forklift when needed.
- Completes paperwork for waste tracking movement.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of related work experience.
- Basic understanding of disposal outlets and technologies.
- Ability to work in adverse environments (cold/heat)
- Forklift and DOT training are highly preferred.
