Title: LMS eLearning Specialist
Contract Term: 1-year, high potential to extend
Location: REMOTE
Ideally able to do occasional visits to HQ in Nutley NJ
This is a blended role: Content development AND LMS support (SuccessFactors)
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
- Experience and interest in development/testing/troubleshooting online contents (60-80%)
- Support LMS administration (20-40%)
- Experience developing SCORM compliant eLearning using Articulate 360 (or similar)
- Experience with SuccessFactors (a plus)
ROLE:
• Hands-on experience developing AICC/SCORM training content using 3rd party authoring tools like Articulate 360 by applying adult learning principles (3+ years).
• Liaise with the business & development team to assist with the development and launch of online training using knowledge of online content development (preferably Articulate 360).
• Work closely with the Learning Management System (LMS) team to load and test online programs that comply with internal business processes.
• Lead the development of training materials, job aids, guideline documents, workflow, and process flow plans to support the cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
• Periodically execute LMS system sanity testing for online programs to ensure they are functional and compatible with Company’s systems (patch & change management).
• Troubleshoot issues with existing online training programs courses with a keen sense of urgency (L2 & L3 support).
• Maintain LMS business processes and keep them current by partnering with the LMS business team.
• Provide secondary system administrative support to the LMS system administration as required.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of instructional design concepts and principles (eLearning certificate is a plus)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing compliant online training using authoring tools, preferably Articulate 360.
• Proven experience working with AICC and SCORM methodology, HTML, CSS, XML, ActionScript, and JavaScript, etc.
• Hands-on experience testing and deploying online training in the corporate LMS environment, preferably SAP/SuccessFactors LMS.
• LMS system administration experience – junior level, is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with various levels of management.
• Experience working on Microsoft Office suite especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with graphics creation, screen capture software, and audio editing software.
• Willing to provide secondary support to the LMS team as required.
