Location: Manhasset, NY
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30 am -7:30 pm (5 days) or Monday through Saturday (6 days)
Salary: $1,100 - $1,300/week, based on skills and experience
Benefits: Paid vacation, holidays and PTO
Children: 6 yo, 5 yo and 7 months
Responsibilities: This position is focused on childcare 75% of the time, while the remaining 25% will be spent in the role of house manager, which entails organization, errands, light cleaning and/or light cooking . Childcare duties include caring for the 7 month old during the day, including feeding, changing, and developmentally appropriate stimulation and activities. Assisting in preparing the older children for school in the morning and supervising them after school and on school holidays, in tandem with their mother, is part of this role as well. When the baby is sleeping or in the care of the mother, who is home full time, house manager duties will be rotated in.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional childcare experience
- Excellent references must be provided
- Prior house managerial experience preferred
- Conversational English
- Experience caring for babies under 1 year preferred
- Driver with valid license preferred
- Ability to be paid via check
