Babysitter -Must Drive -Urgent

A very sweet family in Roslyn, NY is seeking a babysitter/housekeeper to help their family. The right candidate will have 2+ years of professional childcare experience, drive, and be reliable. Must have a valid Social Security number and/or be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must Drive.

Location: Roslyn, NY

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am-6 pm

Salary: $23-$27/hr. depending on skills and experience

Bonuses: Paid Vacation, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays

Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the care of this family's two young children, ages 3 years old and 16 months. The 3 year old is in a program for part of the day, and you will be responsible for dropping him off and picking him up. While at home with the younger child, he may spend time with his mother and/or she may take him out, and he will nap. During these time you will clean and care for the family home and organize. You may still have significant chunks of down time/free time during the day, while the kids are safely occupied, and the house is clean and organized, and that is absolutely fine. You are welcome to use that time to relax or take care of personal obligations. There may regularly not be 10 hours of work to fill each day. Since the mother is struggling with health issues and has a constantly changing work load, she would rather have help close by at hand and not really need much help, than have fewer hours of help and find herself in very challenging moments.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional childcare experience
• Excellent references from previous employers/families
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
