Live Event Technicians (Project-Based)

We are looking for:  

Advanced Systems Group LLC. is seeking experienced project-based crew members for live corporate events.
Crew members will be considered for the following roles:

• Show Caller
• Technical Directors
• Audio Engineers: A1/A2
• Lighting Designers/Operators
• Video Engineers: V1/V2
• Graphics (GFX) Operators
• Robo-cam/PTZ camera operators
• Multi-skilled Operators (Client facing)

These roles will service our clients onsite at their locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Austin, and Seattle.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 - 7 years of overall broadcast or Live Event experience in a specific discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills.
• A desire to help and perform to the best of your ability on demanding event productions.
• Ability to adapt to a team environment that includes talent, producers and directors, under strict time deadlines.
• Expectation of complete confidentiality on all business matters.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of broadcast and production technology.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to rapid show-flow changes in a live and fluid environment.
• Excellent control room and corporate setting demeanor, team-first attitude and the ability to handle pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to interface with both technical and creative members of the event production ecosystem.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to take a service-oriented approach to this position, with a desire to help clients achieve their best result.
• Responsiveness to queries is a must, with updates and follow-through.
• Ability to work on-site in either of these 3 locations:
  • San Francisco Bay Area (Sunnyvale, Mountain View, and Cupertino)
  • Austin, TX
  • Seattle, WA

• Camera Operation: Panasonic, Sony HDC-P50 Cameras, Telemetric RCCP-2A Robotic Camera Controllers (8), Panasonic AK-UB300 Cameras w/Fujinon Lens and Telemetric Robotics, Custom Telemetric Robotic camera control, (8) AJA KiPro Recorders, ETC Ion Light Console, ETC Source Four LED Studio HD Fixtures , ETC Paradigm Architectural Control Processor
• Graphics Operators (GFX): Google Workspace & Macbook
• Lighting:  GrandMA3 Light Console, Ayrton Diablo-TC Moving Light Fixture, Chroma-Q ColorForce II, ETC Paradigm Architectural Control Processor

Compensation: 

These project-based roles are hourly at a rate of $50-100/hr depending on role and experience.
