LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to work in our Chicago client’s Construction Law department. Heavy E-discovery using Relativity software is required.
This direct hire position is full-time (M-F 9-5) and onsite with no annual billable requirements. There is potential to work 1-2 days from home after successful onboarding.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, manages multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced law office, enjoys working in a collaborative team environment, and is efficient and accurate in their work product.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 DOE
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years working as a Civil Litigation Paralegal in a fast-paced and high-volume law firm environment.
Construction Law experience is not required, but a genuine interest in learning litigation and transactional functions to support a Construction Law Group with contracts, discovery, and trial prep, is.
Must have the ability and desire to work onsite M-F, 9-5 with the potential to WFH 1-2 days/week upon successful onboarding and when the workload permits.
You are highly proficient in using Relativity software to collect, produce, and redact E-discovery data.
You have 4+ years of recent experience independently managing all aspects of Discovery including providing responses, creating privilege logs, and prepping for depositions.
Your resume highlights your ability to support multiple attorneys in trial and arbitration hearings with trial prep, witness binder prep, exhibit lists, organizing electronic exhibit presentations, etc.
You have eFiling experience with both Illinois state and federal (PACER) online systems.
You are tech savvy and are highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Relativity, Legal Citation, and Practice Management Software (AIA for Architects is helpful, but not required.)
Your previous experience includes working in contract disputes, real estate development, architecture, engineering, subcontractor agreements, and other fields related to the construction industry.
Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
