Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, from case inception to resolution. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for organizing documents, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing overall support to ensure efficient case management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents for court filings, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Organize and manage case files, including electronic and physical documents, ensuring all materials are easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Conduct legal research using various resources, such as online databases and legal libraries, to support attorneys in case preparation.
- Assist in the preparation of discovery requests and responses, including drafting interrogatories, requests for production, and document reviews.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the litigation process to schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
- Prepare trial exhibits, demonstratives, and other visual aids for use during hearings and trials.
- Assist attorneys during trial proceedings, including managing exhibits, taking notes, and providing overall trial support
- .Maintain communication with clients regarding case updates and developments, under the supervision of attorneys.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as billing, timekeeping, and calendar management, to ensure efficient workflow within the legal team.
- Stay current with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and court rules to ensure compliance and effective case management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience working as a Litigation Paralegal in a law firm or legal department.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal software applications, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work overtime and handle occasional travel as needed for case-related activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with electronic discovery (e-discovery) tools and procedures.
- Experience with trial preparation and support, including courtroom technology and procedures.
- Knowledge of specific practice areas relevant to the firm, such as civil litigation, employment law, or intellectual property litigation.

Pay: $64,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
