We are seeking an associate with 1-3 years of experience to join their litigation practice focusing on insurance defense of personal injury protection (No-Fault) matters located downtown Jacksonville, Florida office. EOE
Responsibilities include:
Work collaboratively with a team of lawyers on a variety of insurance defense matters, including but not limited to, personal injury protection and UM/UIM coverage disputes.
Assist in handling and managing litigation files from inception through trial.
Participate in strategizing and research projects for determining defense handling tactics.
Preparing motions and memorandums of law on discovery and dispositive issues.
Preparing pleadings, discovery demands and responses to motions.
Drafting reports and providing file analysis.
Significant client interaction and exposure discussions with corporate defendants.
Attend court proceedings and participate in mediations and arbitrations
Defend and take depositions
Additional Benefit Hybrid office!
Minimum 3 days a week in office
2 days a week remotely
