Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our expanding legal team. The successful candidate will work directly with clients on a variety of commercial litigation and Fiduciary Litigation matters, as well as some wealth planning. This is an excellent opportunity to engage in a high level of client interaction, take on significant responsibility, and work with a team of experienced professionals. The position offers a career progression path for the right candidate with the opportunity to build and develop their own client base.
Responsibilities:

• Think strategically regarding commercial litigation matters
• Appear in court and at hearings representing the client
• Provide legal representation to clients on matters related to probate litigation as well as general commercial litigation
• Providing legal representation for clients on matters related to estate planning, probate and trust administration.
• Advising clients on tax-efficient strategies for wealth preservation and transfer.
• Assisting clients in planning for possible long-term care costs.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar of Florida
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial and/or Fiduciary Litigation
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong client service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proficient in the use of legal research tools and software.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated business development skills would be an advantage.
