Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes, ensuring high-quality food is served to our customers. This is a vital role in our dietary department, where your culinary expertise will shine.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Assist in the cooking of menu items, following proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
- Adhere to dietary restrictions and special requests from customers
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role in the food industry
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools safely
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
