PURPOSE AND PERFORMANCE GOALS
Maintaining and setting up production and quality control of all food items and production of all stations. Maintain culinary standards within guidelines set by LondonHouse to insure five star culinary service, profitability and guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains a safe, clean and organized work station.
- Maintain quality of products and services to insure food quality.
- Prepares all food items according to LondonHouse standard recipes, guest specifications and inspects the food quality for consistency.
- Prepares daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production.
- Store food properly and monitors the age and condition of the food products in order to maintain the highest quality.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
- Perform all general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Assist other team members as requested.
- Maintain floors dry, and clean to avoid accidents.
- Perform all assigned side work as requested.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to understand and communicate English to read and expedite recipes.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment such as stove, broilers, ovens, etc.
- Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 100 lbs. through a crowded room.
- Ability to work the various kitchen stations such as broiler, saute, fry, roast, etc.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards.

Safety Requirements
Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. Team members are responsible to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School graduate diploma or equivalent preferred. One to three years cooking experience preferred. Prior hotel or restaurant cooking experience preferred.

Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors, and fellow team members.
