As a Cook at the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers , you will skillfully prepare, season, and cook food, maintaining the highest quality standards. The cook's role includes maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation, as well as ensuring the safe handling of all food products.
Responsibilities:
- Examine food to ensure exceptional quality.
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment to perfection.
- Prepare food for cooking, including meat, poultry, seafood, fruit, and vegetables.
- Cook food using a variety of methods, such as baking, braising, frying, roasting, or steaming.
- Present food in an appealing manner and serve it with finesse in the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation areas and equipment, ensuring sanitary conditions at the end of each shift.
- Store food in temperature-controlled facilities to preserve freshness.
- Ensure a hygienic and functional kitchen environment.
- Accommodate special dietary requirements when necessary.
