Job description

As a Front Office Manager at Hilton Garden Inn, you will be a key figure in ensuring exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure. You will lead a team of front desk associates, overseeing daily operations, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Your role will encompass various aspects of Front Office management, including staff supervision, guest relations, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the front desk team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the delivery of outstanding service.

  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, resolving guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and courteously.

  • Oversee daily Front Office operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, room reservations, billing, and cashiering functions.

  • Ensure adherence to Hilton brand standards and operational procedures to maintain the hotel's reputation for excellence and guest satisfaction.

  • Monitor Front Office budgets, expenses, and revenue streams, maximizing profitability while delivering value to guests.

  • Manage room inventory effectively, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guest occupancy.

  • Conduct regular training sessions for Front Office staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professionalism.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote hotel services, packages, and promotions, contributing to revenue generation and occupancy goals.

  • Implement and enforce safety and security protocols, ensuring the well-being of guests and staff members at all times.

  • Prepare reports, analyze performance metrics, and maintain accurate records of Front Office activities, supporting forecasting and strategic planning efforts.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in Front Office management, ideally within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., ONQ) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Hilton brand standards and procedures is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
