The Lift Operator is responsible for the safe and friendly operations of our lifts to ensure efficient transportation of our employees and guests. Woodward Park City is a 365-day operation with various time frames to seasonal activities. The successful applicant will safely execute all daily tasks on hand while effectively communicating with guests and other team members to create a one-of-a-kind memorable experience.

Job Requirements
While every day is different, and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as a Lift Operator:
- Provides a high level of service to our guests.
- Understands and operates in compliance with department training and safety requirements.
- Operate chairlift and surface lifts in a safe and efficient manner.
- Safely assist customers with loading and unloading of the chairlift and conveyor lifts.
- Maintain a safe work area, i.e., chair lift/conveyor belt unloading and loading ramps, clean/organized work area.
- Executes and maintains snow work in and around work areas.
- Adhere to all ski/ride policies. This will include the Responsibility Code, designated trails, skiing/riding on and off the clock etc.
- Assist ticketing and tubing teams as needed to maintain a successful operation.
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Has a guest service mindset and outgoing personality.
- Must be able to make quick decisions regarding safety.
- Must be able to maintain control and a rational demeanor in emotionally charged situations involving guests and/or employees.
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand for long periods of time, lift 50lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment.
- Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after position is accepted.
