Sugar Bowl Resort is looking for skilled people to support the Lift Maintenance Team with the our summer maintenance program. The Lift Maintenance Helper will perform routine preventative maintenance including grip, line and terminal work, and will conduct start up and shut down duties on ski lifts. The Lift Maintenance Helper is a crucial team member, supporting the efforts to increase the longevity of the lift system at Sugar Bowl Resort.

What you'll do
- Complete all mandatory trainings and have manager sign off accordingly
- Perform basic preventative maintenance duties which include, but are not limited
- Sheave cleaning and disassembly
- Sheave inspection for cracks, snap ring groove tolerances, snap ring wear
- Sheave bearing removal and replacement
- Sheave liner removal and replacement
- Sheave painting and date stenciling
- Solvent tank use for cleaning ski lift parts
- Removal of carriers from lifts
- Removing grips from carriers
- Team carrying detachable grips
- Assist with grip disassembly
- Grip parts washing
- Maintenance record keeping
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work place
- Complete and submit written work documentation
- Be an advocate for company policies and adhere to them
