Lifeguard/Pool Attendants

The Country Club at Castle Pines is seeking experienced and certified Lifeguards and Pool Attendants for our seasonal pool. In this position, you will be primarily responsible for the overall safety of the pool area, members, guests, and pool side staff. Lifeguards are responsible for the daily cleaning and maintenance of the pool deck, pool, and spa and administering proper chemicals.

Summary:

The Country Club at Castle Pines is currently seeking qualified candidates for full and part-time seasonal Lifeguards. Our Lifeguards work in an upscale Club pool environment providing excellent service to our members & guests while maintaining a safe aquatics environment.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing members and guests with a fun aquatics experience.
• Lifeguards will supervise members and their guests at the pool and deck areas ensuring the highest standards of safety are maintained.
• Lifeguards are a large part of the pool experience and are required to support the whole operation including but not limited to the Poolside Café and Banquets/events hosted poolside or in our All Seasons Village fitness complex. Lifeguards will also be involved in special event operations like family nights and holiday parties (e.g., Independence Day).
• Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of all facility patrons, both in and out of the water, by preventing and responding to all emergencies in the pool and vicinity.

• Administering proper pool/spa chemicals as required to provide a safe aquatic experience.

Requirements

Qualifications:

**All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

• Successful applicants must possess the ability to meet and pass all American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Standards.
• As a nationally ranked club our Lifeguards must have the ability to continually meet and exceed the high standards of our Club. We expect all lifeguards to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance. The pool environment at The Country Club at Castle Pines is an extremely active department of the club and is continuously busy with members, guests, and especially children.
• Applicants must be able to work in a fast paced-upscale environment and always have an engaging personality.
• Lifeguards must obtain a Lifeguard Certification on or before the first day of work. For those who are not currently certified, The Country Club at Castle will pay for the certification from the American Red Cross.
• Applicants must be experienced with pool/spa chemicals, methods and timing of use.
• Applicants must have open availability and be flexible with hours, a changing schedule, working holidays, and weekends.
