Position may be filled as a temporary promotion not to exceed one year by current permanent Army employee.
Temporary promotions may be extended up to a maximum of 5 years and may be made permanent without further competition.

In order to qualify, you must meet the Basic Requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes interpreting regulations, directives and policies and advise, assist, and/or instruct staff; developing and maintaining an automated database for controlling internal suspense to include reports, statuses of hiring actions, awards, and manning requirements; providing complex substantive management support services in the areas of program cost analysis, annual/multiyear/long range fiscal planning; coordinating civilian personnel administrative financial matters within the district and forward deployed staff; processing and reviewing a variety of classification actions for accuracy and completeness in accordance with District, Division, and other agencies; and recommending action considered necessary to maintain activities at the required level of operational readiness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
