Join the Digital Media sales team
Veradigm is looking for an experienced Life Sciences, AVP (individual contributor) to join our Digital Media Sales team to be responsible for developing and managing a Life Sciences sales pipeline, closing, and strategic marketing partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling Digital Media, marketing and clinical program solutions to the bio-pharmaceutical industry and their agencies. Knowledge of the broad healthcare marketplace, health IT and EHR, point-of-care solutions, market research/analytics, patient education, and or market access/payer marketing is a plus.
The purpose of this role is to establish deep horizontal and vertical relationships with key accounts, resulting in the sale of marketing solutions, including media solutions and enhanced clinical workflow solutions under development. This role provides a unique opportunity to join a sales organization with one of the most successful and innovative leadership teams in health technology, and a fast-growing and high-profile business unit within Veradigm.
What you will contribute:
- Identify and initiate contact with Life Science prospects within bio-pharmaceutical companies across their commercial organizations, especially brand /franchise leadership, market access and centers of excellence focused on marketing innovation.
- Assess customer needs; develop effective sales proposals; negotiate deals; and ensure successful delivery of closed programs. Up-selling and working with other Life Science focused sales teams within Veradigm is also important.
- Manage communications, scheduling and approvals between the client, client services and operations team throughout the implementation process
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred) or Equivalent work experience
- Minimum 15 years' experience in the healthcare industry (Preferred).
- 7+ years' experience selling marketing services to the pharmaceutical industry and their Agencies.
- Consultative, net-new sales professional who can produce in a dynamic, highly visible environment
- History of consistent, top-performing sales record in new business sales
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, analytical, highly organized and detail oriented
- Able to multi-task and work in deadline driven team environments.
Travel Requirements:
- 20-25% Occasional overnight, out-of-town travel required (day travel if located in the Northeastern U.S.)
- Remote/home-based role - east coast preferred.
