Pay: $13-$15/hr

- Conduct and/or assist with assignments and assigned activity groups
- One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
- Observe and report behavioral changes in resident/client
- Observe and record resident/client attendance and responses
- Provide input and assistance with activity planning
- Schedule activities and flexibility to make unscheduled activity changes
- Escort residents to and from activities
- Has access to confidential information/records and maintains confidentiality
- Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, and public
- Handle resident mail
- Seasonal Decorating and flower arranging
- Clean activity areas/storage space
- Drive company vehicle for activity purposes
- Other duties as assigned
- Frequently pushes/pulls residents/clients in wheelchairs weighing 200+ pounds a distance of approximately 600 feet; frequently lifts and carries activity department equipment/supplies weighing up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally reaches above shoulder height; frequently reaches at or below shoulder height
- Occasionally walks on uneven ground; occasionally squats, kneels, climbs stairs and ladders
- Frequently twists, stoops, bends
- 90% of work day is spent inside, 10% outside; 30% of work day is standing, 55% walking and 15% sitting
- Must be able to communicate orally and/or in writing with residents, families, co-workers, and public
