LICENSING QUALITY ASSURANCE - MEDICAL FACILITIES LICENSING (MFLQA) INTERN

POSTING DETAILS:
- The MFLQA intern will join our team for 14-19 weeks, working 16-20 hours each week.
- Start date - As soon as you're ready we can accommodate your class schedule so that you may work during business hours.
-You will need to upload a copy of your resume, transcripts and cover letter explaining how your skills are a good fit for this position, must have a current GPA standing of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Compensation based on education and experience.
JOB SUMMARY:
-We are seeking a talented and engaged intern who is working toward a degree and wants to develop beyond the classroom!
-You would be a great fit if you have excelled in courses involving public health, public administration, healthcare administration, or data analytics. Experience as a licensed professional, or working in a clinical or regulated setting would also be helpful.
-In this role, you will be responsible for staying up-to-date on COVID guidelines from CMS and the CDC, and providing guidance to the Department staff and licensing facilities. You will also review and analyze data to identify quality issues and establish and implement processes to address data quality issues.
-You will also have the opportunity to develop a Google Site for an internal conference event, including pages for daily webinars, keynote speakers, and more!
-You will be coached and mentored by the Deputy Assistant Director of Licensing, as well as have opportunities to work with and collaborate with the bureau's leadership team and the Quality Control Administrator for the division.
YOU WILL BRING THE FOLLOWING TO THE INTERNSHIP:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Time management, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Google Workspace, including Google Sites, Forms, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive.
Ability to troubleshoot and identify potential technical challenges.
Ability to learn and use computer and data systems and tools.
