About the Position: Children’s Recovery Center (CRC) is currently recruiting for a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LBHP)! At CRC, we know the healing power of presence begins with compassionate people like you and we believe that patients come first and you are valued as a team member! Our LBHPs provide professional behavioral health including: assessments and psychotherapy, supporting recovery and wellness with a designated population. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to address the physical and behavioral needs of individuals in services.

Candidates must have a license in a mental health field or have approved supervision for licensure. The incumbent will be trained in a variety of assessments tools and evidence-based interventions.  Applicants interested in providing services that are trauma-informed, strength-based, and family-focused are encouraged to apply!

Currently under supervision?  We may be able to provide a licensure supervisor!

Job Type/Salary:

  • Full-Time position - Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
  • Contract option available! $35/hr
  • Annual Base Salary Range is based on DMH tenure and certifications.
    • Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LBHP) $61,000 - $65,000
    • Licensed Candidate Behavioral Health Professional (LCBHP) $56,000 - $57,000
    • Full Compensation range of $67,599.00 to $89,849.00, depending on the number of covered dependents. Compensation range to include base salary, retirement, and benefits allowance to help you pay for your benefits.  
  • FLSA Status: Exempt

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be a practitioner with a license to practice in the state issued by one of the following licensure boards:  Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH).
  • Under supervision: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be actively and regularly receiving board approved supervision, extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if board’s supervision requirement is met but the individual is not yet licensed, to become licensed by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology, Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner or Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

About the facility: Children’s Recovery Center of Oklahoma (CRC) is in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for young people ages 13 to 17.  CRC provides community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma related conditions.

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
