Licensed Vocational Nurse Lvn

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care. An ARF certification is a bonus. Hours are flexible.

Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living
- Assist with memory care for patients with cognitive impairments
- Perform dermal filler injections under the supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Requirements:
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Experience in patient care, memory care, or dermal fillers preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and electronic health record systems (eClinicalWorks)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and priorities
- Familiarity with ophthalmology or assisted living is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
