Form of workDemonstrates knowledge and understanding of normal limits of vital signs and commonly used lab tests by recognizing abnormal findings and reports them to the RN.
Under leadership of RN the LVN gathers data on patient’s physical and emotional needs. LVN gathers data on family psychological needs. Performs simple procedures skillfully (e.g. dressing changes, urinary catheterizations, tube irrigations). Participates in patient care plan conferences and in discharge planning.
Current CA licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Current Basic Life Support Level C (Healthcare Provider) certification. Current ACLS Certification. Current NIHSS certification. IV certification.
