As Reno's newest veterinary urgent care, we are set to launch in April 2024 and we're on the lookout for dynamic and seasoned Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional pet care in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, we want to leverage your license to its fullest potential, empowering you to utilize the skills and knowledge you gained to make a meaningful impact in animal care. Your role will encompass a variety of essential tasks to ensure the success of our practice, including:

• Engage in professional client communication and education.
• Conduct laboratory procedures, including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, and blood chemistry.
• Perform diagnostic imaging and implement safety protocols for fellow staff members.
• Assist in surgical procedures, maintaining the surgical environment.
• Administer anesthesia, monitor patients, and maintain anesthesia equipment.
• Provide nursing care such as administering medications via various routes, applying and maintaining bandages, and addressing the physical and psychological needs of patients.
• Undertake additional, more advanced duties as assigned, with training provided.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
