Overview of Responsibilities:
- Assisting physical therapist in implementing treatment programs according to plan of care.
- Training patients in exercises and activities of daily living.
- Conducting treatments using special equipment.
- Administering modalities and other treatment procedures, reporting patient responses and completing documentation.
Education Required: Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an APTA-accredited educational program.
Experience Preferred: none required. Preference may be given to individuals with advanced clinical experience or expertise.
