This LPN-3 WAE (PRN) position is for a vacancy located in our Primary Care section within Rosenblum Behavioral Health Clinic in Hammond, Louisiana. Please see the Examples of Work below for additional information for this position.
This position will be filled as a Classified WAE (When Actually Employed or PRN) limited to 1,245 hours in a 12 month period.
Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant's level of experience. Below is a list of the pay range for the position:
- Licensed Practical Nurse 3: $22.30/hour minimum - $33.08/hour maximum

Examples of Work
This nursing position is responsible for assisting in delivery of health care and patient care management in the absence of the full-time nurse assigned to this clinic. This position performs standard nursing services, which may include the following: Point of Care testing such as flu, strep, and urinalysis, as well as administer vaccinations, and has knowledge of medications, administering prescribed medications, performing injections, maintaining documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), administering screenings, tests, and other required labs, conducting assessments and screens for new clients, and participating as an active member of the Primary Care team.
