Licensed Outpatient Clinical Assessor And Clinician - Full Time

Summary

Private Outpatient Clinical practice is seeking a Full Time Licensed Outpatient Clinical Assessor and Clinician. Outpatient Therapists are responsible for providing outpatient therapy to clients with an emphasis on completing comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up therapy for children/adolescents and families referred into our multi-systemic therapy program. The ideal candidate is flexible to serve clients in the office, home, and community settings, is a Medicaid approved provider, and eligible to join additional private insurance panels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Completes clinical mental health assessments and treatment plans of clients.
• Provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy implementing goal specific and measurable treatment plans.
• Manages insurance panel and practice management within departmental guidelines.
• Assess progress toward goals of individuals served, coordinating supports and resources, as needed.
• Prepares and submits documentation of services within 24 hours of service delivery.
• Provides urgent care and crisis intervention as indicated.
• Consults regularly w/ clinical team members on member care.
• Communicates w/ Behavioral Health colleagues, Primary Care providers, and other providers and agencies as needed to facilitate integrative care.
• Participates in staff development meetings and in quality of care activities on a regular basis.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Experience serving children/adolescents and adults with DSM-V diagnosis (mental health needs) and their families.

• Able to adequately complete additional assessments and mental health screenings as needed

Preferred Experience

• Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW)
• Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (LCMHC)
• Family Therapy (LMFT)
• Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS)
• Strong Assessment & Diagnostic Skills
• 1 year of experience providing urgent care or crisis intervention required
• 2 year of experience providing CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) required.
• Experience in completing Clinical Compressive Assessments
• Treatment Planning Expertise
• Efficient & Effective Practice Management in a Clinical Setting
• Client Focus & Strong Ability to Function as a Team Member
• Strong Individual, Family, & Group Therapy Skills
• Flexibility with willingness to work in office, client home, and/or community
• Individual therapy with adults, children using cognitive behavioral techniques
• Marital therapy using behaviorally-based approaches
• Direct use of pragmatic (i.e., structural, strategic and functional) family therapies
• Implementation of interventions within or between systems in the youth’s natural ecology that affect or influence the behavior of youth (i.e., family, peer, school, and neighborhood)

Education Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Service-related field required.
• 2 years of Post Master's clinical experience in mental health required.
