Director, Outpatient Clinic

Freedom House Recovery Center, Inc., is a comprehensive behavioral health provider trusted to serve Triangle communities for over 45 years. We offer a full range of services to adults, children and families managing behavioral health symptoms and/or substance use disorders including inpatient psychiatric stabilization and medically assisted detoxification; outpatient evaluations, therapy and medication management, medication assisted treatment for substance use disorders and adult residential services.

We are currently seeking a full-time Director for our Outpatient Clinic in Durham. The Director will be a LCAS, LCSW or LMHC and will provide administrative oversight including program development, community outreach, clinical supervision, personnel, and budget management. Director will also conduct clinical assessments and provide group clinical services, as needed.

The qualified candidate will:

• Master’s degree in human services/medical field and two years of progressively responsible experience in social work, nursing, counseling, health care management, or substance abuse and mental health services with director supervisory experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Specialized experience in serving high-risk and special populations related to outreach, Substance Use Disorder, AIDS education, prevention and treatment, and a high degree of demonstrated training experience in providing culturally specific prevention and treatment services.

  PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Advanced Practice Mastered Nurse, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist
