Position Summary: Directs the overall operations of the care community in accordance with current local, state and federal regulations governing long-term care in-order to ensure the highest level of quality care is provided to each resident.
Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Home facility
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Manage the financial aspects of the facility, including budgeting and financial reporting
- Coordinate and supervise the work of all staff members, including nurses, social workers, and support staff
- Ensure that residents receive high-quality care and services
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate with medical professionals to develop individualized care plans for residents
- Handle any issues or concerns that arise within the facility
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Nursing Home administration
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a Nursing Home or long-term care facility
- Strong knowledge of social work principles and practices
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management
- Familiarity with home care regulations and practices
- Experience with medication administration and management
