Duties:
- Responsible for operating and managing the facility in a positive direction
- Helps establish, implement, and evaluate goals and objectives that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy
- Makes decisions and shapes team priorities to achieve agency operational goals
- Responsible for the overall financial performance of the facility
- Ensure effective and on-going, on-the-job training of team members, evaluate, record individual and team performance, provide coaching and counseling and make appropriate developmental recommendations
- Helps ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, policies and procedures
- Support other Executive Directors (Cluster Partners) in peer-leadership cluster model
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree at a minimum, though an advanced level degree is preferred.
- Must be a licensed Administrator
- Minimum 3-4 year long-term care experience (Skilled Nursing Facility)
- Strong understanding of state and federal laws and regulations regarding the operation of skilled nursing facilities
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Strong financial management/budget skills with the ability to meet quality care and compliance standards
