We are looking for the best talent to provide in-home intensive in-community therapeutic services to youth throughout the state of New Jersey. NeuroPath Behavioral Healthcare (NPBHC) is currently hiring dedicated and compassionate therapist to join our team! *Key Responsibilities*:
- Providing individual in-home therapy sessions and group therapy sessions in our outpatient center, perform bio-psycho- social assessments, Etc.
- Provide coping and social skills, anger management and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
- Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family.
- Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, dap notes, etc.
- Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory weekly paperwork
- Must be able to complete or willing to train for Bio-Psycho-Social assessments.
*Requirements:*
- Must have a master’s degree or completing the last year of MA in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT
- Has applied for or have LAC, LSW, MFT, (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LPCC) or related professional licensure
- Has Clinical Mental Health Training
- Has some training or willing to complete Crisis Intervention Training
- Has post-internship field experience working with youth with disabilities with clinical experience
- Has experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments.
- Has experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
- Knows how to use the DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Must be available for a minimum 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours of 4-7 pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus.
- Must have experience providing positive behavior support.
- Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20 and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle.
- Must pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.
- Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with a copy of NJ or Certification or License.
Note: State Reciprocity is considered but the candidate needs to be no more than 25-30 minutes commute to the designated service areas. The license must be registered with the NJ Marriage & Family Therapy Board (i.e., PA & NJ).

- $40 - 55 per hour
