Position Description
We are actively seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to join the Wellness Wag team and help us turn our vision into reality. We are in search of an ethical, competent, and compassionate Mental Health Professional who can connect with clients and assess their suitability for an Emotional Support Animal. What You’ll Do
- Conduct Mental Health Assessments: Leverage your expertise to evaluate clients' Mental Health and determine if they would benefit from an Emotional Support Animal. If appropriate, prescribe an Emotional Support Animal.
- Ensure Timely Appointments: Take on the responsibility of proactively calling patients at the scheduled time of their appointment, ensuring a seamless and punctual consultation experience.
Qualifications We're Looking For
- Expertise in Issuing ESA Letters: Demonstrated experience in prescribing Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters, along with a solid understanding of the relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Proficient in Remote Consultations: Adept at conducting effective phone and/or virtual consultations, ensuring clients receive top-notch care and guidance.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to connect with clients compassionately and convey information clearly and empathetically.
- Tech-Savvy Enthusiasm: A positive and tech-savvy mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot computer or connectivity issues, contributing to smooth and uninterrupted consultations.
What You'll Bring
One of the following licenses is required:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or PsyD)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
