DEPARTMENT: Hawaii Island Health & Wellness Center (HIHWC)

LOCATION: Keaau, Hawaii

JOB TYPE: Full Time with Benefits

DUTIES SUMMARY:

Provide direct behavioral health outpatient services including intake, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling to co-occurring population or individuals with Mental Health issues. Ensures HIPAA and 42CFR standards are met. Responsible for referrals however not limited to BISAC making internal referrals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Training and Experience:

• MA in Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Counseling-Required.
• Licensed to practice in the State of Hawaii- Preferred.
• Additional requirements:
• Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance (within the last 12 months)
• Medical/Physical Clearance (within the last 12 months)
• CPR/ First Aid Certified.

Ability/Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge and experience working with Electronic Health Records is a plus
• Able to work with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Detail orientated, able to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
