Job Description
- Conduct assessments of patients to determine the most effective massage therapy techniques.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and conditions.
- Perform 30–90 minute massage therapy sessions, and complete SOAP charting notes by the end of the shift.
- Provide guidance on at-home care and exercises.
- Present a warm, professional and positive disposition from first impression through the entire massage session with each patient
- Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the shift to get grounded and prepare for the shift.
- Practice the highest standard of sanitation, neatness, and preparedness.
- Support the team in maintaining the linen room by running the washer/dryer and folding linens as needed.
- Contribute to an enjoyable environment at the clinic for patients and fellow staff members alike.
- Active Massage Therapy License in the state of Oregon
- Active liability and malpractice insurance.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage therapy techniques that include, but are not limited to deep tissue, sports massage, and trigger point therapy.
