New York City Chiropractic is a full-service chiropractic/massage therapy practice located in Midtown New York, NY. We are a small but growing business that prides ourselves on providing the highest quality of care to our clients.

We are looking for a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist, working as an independent contractor. this position offers excellent working conditions and a positive vibe to match.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality, personalized massages to our clients
• Create an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort for our clients
• Maintain a clean and sterile work environment
• Perform all work duties within the scope of this job description
• Be on time for work and punctual with the appointments
• Be able to work standing for up to 7 hours per day

Skills:

• Proficient with Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, and Therapeutic Massage
• Knowledge and some experience in sports massage is a plus
• Punctuality is a must
• Present a professional appearance
• Capable to work 3-4 hours in a row with 10 min breaks in between for transition and sanitation
• Have and maintain an active insurance policy AMTA or other
• Maintain neatness in the private treatment room you are assigned to
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Pleasant disposition

Optional skillset is appreciated, such as Myofacial Massage, Pre/Post Natal Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Medical Massage.
