Responsibilities

As an online counselor on Therapy Experts, you will help people make healthy lifestyle choices and achieve their goals to lead happy lives.

You will do it via asynchronous text and live video sessions on our platform. All information is protected. So you can conduct online therapy sessions safely.

You focus on providing top-quality mental care — we focus on removing all barriers for you.

What will you do?

• Provide online counseling via chat and video

• Create a therapy plan, defining short- and long-term goals of therapy

• Give instruments to calm/help themselves when clients are on their own

• Answer clients daily 5 days a week (minimum of 1 time per day)

Qualifications and experience you must have:

• A masters’ degree or higher

• Clinical state license that enables you to practice independently (e.g., LCSW, LSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, LMHC, etc.)

• You will be matched with clients in the states where you are licensed and allowed to practice independently

• At least 1 year of experience in independent private counseling

• Access to a stable Internet connection and any device you are comfortable with

• Readiness to communicate with clients via text messaging and live video

• Availability to respond to clients daily (working days)
