Form of workRVP Consultants is looking for a Licensed Clinical SocialWorker to provide a variety of ambulatory behavioral health services includingevaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, case management andpsychotherapeutic intervention to individuals, families, groups and/orIntensive Outpatient Programs.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Masters Degree in socialwork from an accredited college or university, passing score on the clinicallevel national board examination, and supervised Clinical Social work training,as required by Hawaii Revised Statues (HRS) 467E-7.

Basic Life Support requiredat hire from American Heart Association
Additional Requirements:
Experience in providingevidence based treatment including conducting individual, and group therapy,intensive outpatient treatment, and/or partial hospitalization programs forchildren, and/or adults, including people with serous/chronic mental illness.
Experience in writingtreatment plans.
Knowledge and experience inconducting assessments and diagnostic evaluations using the latest Diagnosticand Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
Demonstrated knowledge ofand skill in adaptability, change management, conflict resolution, decisionmaking, group process facilitation, influence, interpersonal relations, oralcommunication, problem solving, quality management, teamwork and written communication.
Taxonomy code required attime of hire.
Note: This position requiressuccessful completion of credentialing process upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in providingbehavioral health services in a primary care setting.
Experience in providingservices to patients with addictions issues.
Experience in providingConsultation/liaison Services to emergency departments.
Demonstrated knowledge andskill in documentation according to national accreditation guidelines.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assists withadministration, development, implementation, and evaluation of social workprograms and policies.
Conducts social workconsultation. Performs clinical diagnosis or psychotherapy.
Provides psychotherapy andcounseling for individuals, families, groups and/or Intensive OutpatientPrograms. Utilizes a wide range of evidence based interventions and modalities.Provides services such as crisis intervention, brief therapy, cognitive andbehavioral therapies, skills training, supportive therapy, stress management,and family therapy.
Interviews member andevaluates their psychological and mental status. Utilizes the latest Diagnosticand Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to diagnose patients.Determines if member is in crisis, at-risk, or suicidal/homicidal. Refersmembers in need of immediate or urgent care to appropriate level of services.
Assesses urgent orhigh-risk clinical situations and makes appropriate interventions. Coordinatesreferral of patient to psychiatrist or other clinician. Assists with admissionto hospital or other specialized facilities. Plans and provides services in the appropriate level of care.Assesses needs for mental healthtreatment and makes appropriate referrals as needed. Performs case management,coordination, and monitoring of social work service plans in areas of personal,social or economic resources, conditions, or problems.
Assesses treatment andprevention of psychosocial dysfunction, disability, or impairment, includingemotional and mental disorders. Conducts preparation and evaluation ofpsychosocial assessments and development of social work service plans.
Helps patients enhance orrestore their capacities for personal and social functioning and preventing andcontrolling social problems.
Gathers information andidentifies resource and referral services for patient care. Educates clientregarding behavioral health services. Assists members to use services.
Participates in or assistswith therapeutic and educational group programs. Evaluates outcomes and effectsof treatment for individual patients and programs.
Researches, collects andrecords data and information relating to identification and treatment ofbehavioral and interpersonal problems of patient. Proposes alternatives for interventions andapproaches for resolutions.
Collaborates and consultswith physicians and other interdisciplinary clinical team members to supportassessments and decision making. Reviews difficult cases or quality assuranceconcern with clinical team. Acts as consultant to team members and others inthe organization.
Maintains high level ofclinical expertise. Is knowledgeable of current clinical conditions, methods,medications, theoretical frameworks and interventions. Utilizes best practicesin delivery of behavioral health services in accordance with professional andclinical guidelines. Utilizes evidencebased interventions and modalities with sound theoretical base.
Maintaining clinicalrecords by documenting clinical assessments, treatment plans, interventions andall pertinent information in patient medical record according to Regional anddepartmental guidelines.
Participates in clinicalteam meetings, departmental planning and quality management activities.
Assesses patients inEmergency Departments on after hours and as needed basis in service areas whereKaiser Permanente has privileges to provide mental health assessments andcrisis intervention.
Other clinical duties asassigned.
