Role Description
This is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor position with Fayetteville Area Operation Inasmuch. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fayetteville, NC. The Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor will provide counseling, therapy, and Mental Health services to individuals in our Living Hope Program.
The Counselor will also develop diagnosis, treatment, and discharge plans under the guidance of program leaders and in line with evidence-based practices. Furthermore, the Counselor will maintain accurate and updated records, including timely notes and documentation of services provided in the organization's database.
The Counselor will also hire and oversee a Case Manager.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field
- Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina or an equivalent License to practice
- Preferably two years of experience providing counseling and therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
- Expertise in evidence-based counseling theories and practices
- Experience in conducting assessments, developing diagnoses, and creating treatment plans
- Experience working with diverse populations, and knowledge of cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed models of care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive care
