Immediate Opening for a Full Time Aesthetician with a laser license. This is an hourly plus commission & tips position. Must have sales experience in the aesthetic industry. Must have a passion for aesthetics. Must have experience providing facials, chemical peels, laser, body treatments and working in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Aesthetic Provider/Aesthetician provides, laser hair removal treatments, chemical peels and microderms, body contouring, and various skin services under the supervision of the Advanced Aesthetic Leader/Medical Director.
- Sales - sell cosmetic procedures through contacting patient prospects daily. Selling to prospective patients through extensive phone conversations and live consultations. 5 days per week will be focused on selling. Comfort with quoting and selling procedures and treatments ranging from a few hundred to 10+ thousand dollars is necessary. Making calls and emails daily.
- the acquisition of in-depth knowledge regarding all medical spa products and services a must.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Organization – Task orientation, honesty, timely completion of assignments, and an innate desire to “get things done” is a must. Knowledge of medical software like Aesthetics Pro or Vagaro is preferred by not required.
- Positivity – we love patient care and seek a bubbly, positive, sunny outlook from our winning candidate. We have a zero-tolerance approach to drama and team members must work together positively and build one another up.
- Whatever it takes attitude with a sales focus – Typical hours 10am-6pm T-F Saturday 10-4 pm, but at times more or less is needed. The selected candidate will report directly to the practice manager as well as have oversight and training from an industry leading consultant.
- Managing daily appointments of the location, ensuring that excellent service is consistently delivered to all members and guests.
- Achieving membership and retail sales and profitability goals & regularly monitor progress against goals.
- Resolving concerns, as well as all associated record keeping.
- Maintaining a professional, clean, and safe environment for employees, members, and guests, and developing a culture in the location that embraces and reflects the brand's core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency, and empathy.
Ideal Candidate:
- Have a strong customer service orientation and be able to communicate effectively with members and guests, prospective clients, & vendors.
- Must be comfortable with meeting exceptions of a performance-based culture and driving revenue.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Have sales experience within Medspa industry.
- Possess the ability to identify and solve problems, set goals and expectations, delegate responsibilities, and effectively interact with staff.
- Exhibit proficiency in establishing membership and retail sales goals and interpreting progress and trends in sales reports.
- Develop a care plan specific to each client, including pre-treatment and post-treatment
- Deliver treatments using established medical protocols
- Perform general skin assessments prior to treatment
- Develop strong client relationships
- Support sales by recommending other services and products
- Other special projects or tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Current and valid aesthetic licensure for the State of Texas
- Current and valid Laser licensure for the State of Texas
- 2 or more years of hands-on experience in a Medspa or Dermatology practice is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; talk or hear; grasp and hold equipment; *operate medical machinery. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
- Employee should be aware that operating some medical and cosmetic machinery may interfere with the operation of an ICD or pacemaker.
- Provide medical-grade clinical skin care services including MicroRF, eMattrix, Chemical Peels, Facials, Microdermabrasion, IPL, Dermaplaning and extractions.
Average 6 clients a day, 30-40 new per month
- Provide complimentary consultations and skin analysis to all new clients. Recommend treatment plans and home care regimen to address concerns and achieve desired results.
- Medical charting for each treatment and consultation
- Respond to any email and phone call inquiries regarding skin care products and treatments
- Maintain cleanliness of treatment room, sanitation of instruments and equipment.
- Keep track of professional products in back bar inventory and order supplies as needed
CoolSculpting/Body Contouring Services
- Provide complimentary consultations and treatment plans to potential CoolSculpting/Body Contouring clients. Discuss costs and create quotes.
- Set realistic expectations of results
- Take photos, assess and treat BodyContouring patients.
- Follow-up with all patients
- Reassess all patients after 30 and 90 days to ensure expectations are met
- Document all treatment encounters in an electronic medical records system
- Other tasks as requested by your supervisor or needed by your teammates
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Related industry experience considered a plus
- Sales experience preferred, specifically with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is a plus
- Knowledge of the plastic surgery / aesthetic world
- Bonus; Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
