The Exercise Coach – Davie is seeking a part-time Personal Trainer / Fitness Instructorto deliver one-on-one and small group exercise instruction. Duties include:
- Conducting initial consultations and assessments.
- Leading individual exercise sessions.
- Tracking fitness results for clients.
- Provide positive encouragement for clients.
- Selling monthly and package sessions to prospects.
- Contacting potential clients to get them in to the studio.

- Passionate about good health.
- A commitment to providing top-notch customer experiences.
- People-oriented, positive attitude, encouraging and patient with clients when instructing. You must LOVE working with people. This is an exciting studio and you must be able to show your clients energy and excitement while working with them. Building long term relationships is key.
- Excellent communication. You must be comfortable conversing in-person and on the phone and know how to conduct yourself professionally, and deliver clear instructions to the clients.
- Fundamental knowledge of exercise science and human biology.
- Valid CPR/AED certificate from nationally-recognized provider. Must be hands-on, in-person classes. If you don't hold a valid certificate at this time, you will be asked to get certified prior to start working at our studio.
- Available to work on Saturdays mornings (7am to 3pm).
- Eligible to work in the USA.
Preferred Skills - These are the qualities and skills that may increase your chances to be hired:
- Sales experience.
- College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science or Nutrition.
- Personal training or group fitness instruction certification.
- Experience working with older adults and various limitations.
- Spanish speaker.
- Basic computer skills.
- Available to work Mon-Fri on early mornings (6am to 12pm) and/or evenings (4pm to 8pm).
All employees will receive full training in The Exercise Coach methods and technologies prior to starting. Compensation is never commission-based so you are always paid for your time, whether training clients or not.
