The Library Assistant is responsible for maintaining the collection, following library policy, and maintaining a high quality collection of relevant print and electronic educational materials that support Keiser’s academic offerings. The Library Assistant is responsible for:
- Performs routine inspection work associated with control of books/films/periodicals and shelving library materials in a library
- Conducts library orientation
- Assists patrons with library usage
- Proctors assessments
- Assists students with student accounts and Blackboard
- Provides Administrative support to the Library and Academic Department.
Must have the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
