Iron Mountain is seeking dynamic and motivated candidates who enjoy working around books and in a library environment.
Job Summary :
- This is a temporary position , Project is expected to end by End of September 2024.
- Competitive Salary : 24$/hour
- Schedule : Monday to Friday from 7.30 am till 4 pm.
- 2 paid 15 minutes break and 1 unpaid 30 minutes Lunch Break
- No Benefits or paid time off
- Must be able to do repetitive tasks in a fast- paced environment
- Must be able to pass a BG check and a drug screening
Job Duties:
- Read and sort books using classification systems i.e.; (LC) Library of Congress and dewey decimal system. Training will be provided.
- Lift and move books and trays of books from shelving to carts and carts to shelving
- Load and unload elevators and trucks with carts
- Using barcode scanner to scan book and carts
Job Skills Required:
- High school diploma is a must
- Experience in Library of Congress Classification is a plus
- Read/Write English Legibly
- Must be willing to work in different locations within an half mile distance ( Parking provided)
- Ability to list up to 35 LB repetitively
- Ability to see small print
- Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hrs daily
- Ability to bend/squat
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions explicitly
- Ability to work independently and in team environment
- Ability to handle delicate materials with care as directed
