The maintenance employee will execute their responsibilities with a positive attitude, neat appearance, and friendly demeanor. The successful applicant will:
- Landscaping activities including lawn mowing, string trimming, and tree pruning
- Maintain general cleanliness of the site. This involves removing trash, picking up debris, sweeping, making sure public areas are clean, and more.
- Maintain machinery and tools in proper working order
- Perform some painting of structures, both interior and exterior.
- Assist in setting up for room rentals including any room rentals outdoors.
- May assist with interpretive gardens including weeding and maintenance.
- Complete tasks assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including holidays, and the potential for weekends and evenings.
- Must be able to lift/move 50 pounds.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work with other team members.
- Must have a current Driver's License
- Must have experience using, or a willingness to learn, machinery and tools such as riding lawn mowers, chainsaw, string trimmer, rototiller, power drill, and various hand tools.
