We provide platform SaaS solutions to our customers in the national security community to support assessments of veracity and authenticity of information and people.

Role Overview:

As a Level III Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and improving components that drive our media and physiological credibility assessment platforms. Working closely with a cross-functional team, you'll be responsible for writing code to support end-to-end assessment platforms, including building, testing, optimizing, and implementing containerized components in an AWS Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop containerized applications and components in an AWS Cloud environment.
• Collaborate with front end engineers to ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend components.
• Work with SQL and NOSQL systems to store and process data in containerized applications.
• Design components and applications to be scalable in an AWS Cloud environment.
• Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to deploy machine learning applications into a containerized environment.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data through effective implementation of best practices.
• Implement strong unit and integration testing practices
• Robust documentation of code

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• 5+ years of industry experience as a developer
• Proficient with programming in a Linux environment, using terminal and shell commands, and writing bash scripts.
• Experience developing and deploying apps for an AWS cloud environment.
• Proficient with SQL and NOSQL database systems
• Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C/C++, C#, Rust
• Expert in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C/C++, C#, Rust
• Proficient with Docker, creating Docker containers, and creating Docker compose deployments
• Proficient with media processing libraries such as OpenCV, MediaPipe, etc.
• Experience developing applications for deployment in serverless architectures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI based media generation or media analysis tools
• Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architectures

Pay: $135,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
